Hi there & welcome!

Couldn't be happier to have you here! If I had to guess, I'd say that you're here because you want to know how to make it easier (and drama-free!) to feed yourself and your family a healthy diet that tastes great, promotes health and wellness, and is also practical, budget-friendly, easy and quick. A lot of folks I know are skeptical that this is even possible, but I promise you that it can be when you use the right combo of foods, planning, prep and behavior change. How can I be sure?

First, I’m a registered dietitian nutritionist and national media spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, so you can trust that the guidance I provide is grounded in evidence-based science and research. Maybe more importantly, I’m a working mom of three young girls ages 4, 5 and 7 -  so I’m in the trenches with you, concerned about my family’s nutrition, feeding multiple small kids every day, always in a rush, struggling with the somewhat unhealthy food environment around us and working within a food budget. I get how essential it is that the healthy changes I suggest be actionable, relatable, practical and kid-tested.

In the coming months, I will have new recipes, tools, resources, programs & online courses available both for free and for purchase on my site. I would love to hear suggestions about content that would interest you - and I'm always happy to cover any of your specific questions or nutrition & wellness-related topics of interest in future blog posts, so feel free to drop a line in the comments section if something comes to mind.

It is truly one of my greatest pleasures in life to take what I know about a healthy nutrition lifestyle and make it easy, delicious, quick and sustainable for you and your family. So stick with me and we will reshape “healthy“ for the next generation, together...
