If you have been following me on social media, you might have picked up that my mission is to reshape “healthy” for the next generation by helping parents feed their children a healthier nutrition lifestyle.

However, if you are a parent or caregiver, you know as well as I do that for change to happen in the lifestyle habits of your kids, the shift needs to happen first for YOU!

When you’re considering or in the process of making healthy changes in your life, deciding which health indicators to track can be confusing. There is so much misinformation out there about which numbers give you the best overall snapshot of where your body currently is and what you want to work toward.

I had the pleasure recently of being interviewed as a nutrition expert by Insider Magazine for an article about health-related numbers and whether your weight should be your biggest focus.
